Next Radio is a radio conference all about finding great, creative ideas for radio. It was created in 2011 by James Cridland and Matt Deegan.

Next Radio is different to other events. It’s not created by a committee, it’s not trying to balance commercial radio and the BBC, or guaranteeing sponsors speaking privileges. Instead it’s curated by James and Matt and is dedicated to showcasing interesting ideas and case studies from radio (and other sectors) from all around the world.

There are no panel sessions. Instead, speakers present for 9 or 18 minutes on subjects close to their heart. It’s a pleasantly relentless day where all sessions are presented one after another in a single stream. You’ll look forward to sessions that talk to your interests but be fascinated by those that don’t. And if you hate something it doesn’t matter as there’ll be something new along within 18 minutes!

Next Radio is an informal conference where over 250 radio practitioners can get together, watch brilliant sessions and also have the opportunity to meet and network.

If you’d like to see what kind of line-ups we have, you’ll find all the videos in the ‘videos’ section.
